ALISSA WHITE-GLUZ's BLUE MEDUSA Releases Third Single And Music Video 'Crocodile.'

September 4, 2026

BLUE MEDUSA, the new band led by former ARCH ENEMY and THE AGONIST vocalist Alissa White-Gluz, has released its third single, "Crocodile.".

Dark, tense and viscously unsettling, "Crocodile." explores the creeping sense that danger is close at hand — even when it remains hidden from view.

"'Crocodile.' is about that feeling that you're being watched... that instinctive dread when you know something dangerous is nearby, even though you can't see it," explains White-Gluz. "It's the feeling that something is lurking just beneath the surface of what appears to be safe or familiar. That tension between what you perceive and what you sense; that is where the song lives."

"Crocodile." marks the latest chapter in White-Gluz's ongoing visual collaboration with Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films, with the pair once again co-directing the stunning accompanying music video.

The video features BLUE MEDUSA's first ever full-band performance, with White-Gluz playing a one-of-a-kind custom guitar built by Nik Huber Guitars as part of a unique three-way collaboration between Sea Shepherd, Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein and BLUE MEDUSA. The guitar is autographed by Alissa and Doyle, includes Doyle's signature Von Frankenstein Monster Gear pick-ups and strings and will be auctioned to raise funds for Sea Shepherd's global marine-life conservation efforts. The video also features creative genius Beatriz Mariano of Okkultist, who contributes chilling visuals and heavy vocals to the video and track.

The "Crocodile." release continues a remarkable year in which Alissa White-Gluz has elated and surprised fans around the world through a whirlwind of performances, collaborations and unexpected appearances.

Later today, Alissa will host the Corrupted Blood live show in Berlin, which will be streamed on the Corrupted Blood Twitch channel. Fans should tune in and remain alert for more surprises.

At this year's Wacken Open Air, Alissa spent her birthday weekend appearing across three different stages, including joining Bear McCreary to perform their original collaboration "Our Kingdom", the official Wacken anthem. She also appeared with Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein for a special signing session at Summer Breeze.

At Sonic Temple and Welcome To Rockville, Alissa stepped up to front DRAGONFORCE, delivering two electrifying performances. She has also made multiple surprise appearances with ICE NINE KILLS throughout Europe and North America, including at Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Stuttgart, Heavy Week-End, Inkcarceration and Rock The Park. At Hellfest, Alissa performed a special acoustic set with SAVAGE LANDS before making another surprise appearance alongside SEPULTURA during "Kaiowas".

Alongside these appearances, Alissa has continued developing BLUE MEDUSA, and a growing series of unexpected collaborations that have kept fans guessing throughout the year. She will front DRAGONFORCE once again for their "Inhumane Rampage" anniversary tour this fall in North America, concluding a year that proves Alissa knows exactly how to excite the metal world and intrigue the music industry. And with huge festival appearances already announced for 2027 — and more dates to be announced soon — Alissa shows no sign of slowing down.

"Crocodile." is available now on all digital streaming platforms.

White-Gluz is joined in BLUE MEDUSA by guitarists Alyssa Day (MINDSCAR, ABSENTIA) and Dani Sophia (ex-Till Lindemann). Bassist Alicia Vigil (DRAGONFORCE, VIGIL OF WAR) and drummer Delaney Jaster (STITCHED UP HEART) will also take part in BLUE MEDUSA's live shows.

Throughout her career, the now-41-year-old Alissa has consistently used her music as a vehicle for social change, addressing pressing issues such as environmental conservation, veganism, and the ethical treatment of animals.

ARCH ENEMY played its final show with White-Gluz at the closing concert of the band's European "Blood Dynasty" 2025 tour with AMORPHIS, ELUVEITIE and GATECREEPER on November 15, 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
